Offered for sale is a Pre-Ban Luigi Franchi LAW-12 semi-automatic shotgun, the semi-auto-only sibling of the famous Franchi SPAS-12. Fewer than 4,000 LAW-12 shotguns were imported into the United States before the 1989 sporting-purpose import ban, making these early examples increasingly desirable among collectors and enthusiasts of Italian tactical shotguns.

This particular example is an early F.I.E.-marked import, retaining its original 21.5-inch chrome-moly barrel, threaded for a fixed Improved Cylinder choke, and chambered for 2¾-inch shells. The shotgun features the LAW-12’s distinctive short-stroke gas operating system with a two-piece piston, providing reliable semi-automatic operation.

The shotgun maintains the iconic LAW-12 tactical profile with its integral pistol-grip stock and military-inspired design, closely resembling the SPAS-12 while remaining a dedicated semi-automatic platform.
